More Cloudflare developer platform releases
Every Cloudflare developer platform releaseAgents - New persistent browser tool in the Agents SDK, with tabs and logins that last between turns
The Cloudflare Agents SDK now provides a browserTool that gives your agent a Browser Run browser it can return to on later turns. Your agent can open a website, inspect a page, and come back to it with its tabs, cookies, and login session intact while the browser session remains alive.
Gateway, Cloudflare One - Request Gateway DNS64 through DNS locations and EDNS
You can now request DNS64 through Cloudflare Gateway DNS location settings or Extension Mechanisms for DNS (EDNS) options. DNS64 synthesizes AAAA records from A records for IPv6-only networks. These networks require network address translation from IPv6 to IPv4 (NAT64).
Cloudflare Web Analytics - Deeper Core Web Vitals Diagnostics: LCP & INP Sub-Part Metrics in Real User Monitoring
The Core Web Vitals tell you whether a page is slow but beyond perceived load time, layout instability, or responsiveness they do not guide you to the problematic area directly. To help you with this, Real User Monitoring (RUM) in Web Analytics now breaks Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) into their respective sub-parts.
Workers, BYOIP, Bots - Workers subrequests now preserve context for BYOIP destinations
Cloudflare now preserves Workers context when a subrequest targets a Cloudflare-proxied hostname using Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) . These requests are identified as Cloudflare-to-Cloudflare traffic instead of external Internet traffic. Previously, some BYOIP subrequests could lose Workers context and original client signals.
Cloudflare One Client for Windows (version 2026.8.2110.0)
A new GA release for the Windows Cloudflare One Client is now available on the stable releases downloads page . This hotfix resolves an issue where the client could repeatedly disconnect and reconnect when a split tunnel configuration with hostname-based entries failed to apply.
Cloudflare One Client for macOS (version 2026.8.2110.0)
A new GA release for the macOS Cloudflare One Client is now available on the stable releases downloads page . This hotfix resolves an issue where the client could repeatedly disconnect and reconnect when a split tunnel configuration with hostname-based entries failed to apply.
Cloudflare One Client for Linux (version 2026.8.2110.0)

Agents - New web_fetch tool in the Agents SDK for reading webpages and documents, with automatic markdown conversion
The Cloudflare Agents SDK now provides a web_fetch tool that reads webpages, PDFs, and supported Office documents, using Workers AI Markdown Conversion to turn them into text the model can read. The tool requests Markdown directly from sites that support Markdown for Agents and formats JSON for the model.

- Three training methods: Supervised fine-tuning (SFT) , direct preference optimization (DPO) , and reinforcement learning with group relative policy optimization (GRPO) . Each method trains a low-rank adapter (LoRA) or the full model weights. Custom loss functions : Train with any objective you compute in PyTorch from the model's log-probabilities.

Gemini 4 Argon in CodeMender (Preview)
CodeMender now supports Gemini 4 Argon. To use it, pass --model gemini-4-argon to cm find , cm verify , or cm fix . Gemini 3.8 Flash remains the default model. For more information, see Specifying the model .
Gemini 4 Argon and Gemini 4 Argon Cyber Permissive
Gemini 4 Argon ( gemini-4-argon ) is available in General Availability (GA) . Gemini 4 Argon is Google's frontier model that excels at deep work in complex, real-world tasks across domains including coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity, and science.
On-demand state repartitioning is now generally available
On-demand state repartitioning is now generally available. You can resize the number of shuffle partitions for a stateful Structured Streaming query or Lakeflow pipeline without losing checkpoint state. See On-demand state repartitioning for stateful streaming queries .
