Existing requests using default use the new model without a setup change. gradium-tts-beta also routes to this model until the next TTS beta arrives. Containers now support the durable_object scheduling policy in public beta. This policy lets a Durable Object select the image and instance size for a Container at runtime instead of using one centrally managed configuration for the application.

Our new Text-to-Speech model is available in public beta, with lower latency and more expressive speech. In our latest measurements, the beta reaches time to first audio in under 50 ms, against 225 ms for the production model. Latency varies with network conditions and input. Set model_name to "gradium-tts-beta" in your TTS setup to use the beta.
The voice catalog grows from about 390 to more than 1,400 voices
