Workbook
Update9 days agoUnverifiedAdded Oct 14, 2026
- Columns in data input tables now retain their data types when the table is saved instead of inferring a type based on new data. You can now choose a column's data type when uploading a CSV or XLSX file and when editing an existing data input table's fields, and Omni converts the stored data to match. Improved error reporting for CSV uploads in workbooks.
More Omni releases
Every Omni releaseAdministration
- Added an organization-level Full screen setting . You can now enter multiple email addresses one per line (as well as comma- or semicolon-separated) when inviting users , with flags for malformed or duplicate addresses before you send.
API
- Added API endpoints for IP allowlist management . The Trigger schedule endpoint now supports triggering workbook-based deliveries. Added an optional rejectIfViewExists parameter to the Create or update YAML files API endpoint.
Content
- Added quick filters to content search . Select All content or Recently updated from the search dialog or the full search page to instantly sort results. Applying a sort: facet now also sorts results directly in the search dialog. You can now immediately restore discarded drafts from the discard confirmation by clicking Undo .
Dashboards
Fixed an issue where turning on Wrap for a vertical stack container could break a table tile's horizontal scrolling and frozen columns. Wrap now only applies to, and is only offered for, horizontal (row) stacks.
Deliveries & Alerts
- Organization Admins can now transfer ownership of a delivery to another active organization member directly from the Settings > Deliveries page, either one at a time or for several selected deliveries at once.
Integrations
- Fixed an issue where dbt environment variables couldn't be saved with an empty value. Non-secret variables can now be left blank; secret variables still require a value. Previously, the Snowflake Semantic View integration would skip importing an entire view if it contained a field with SQL that Omni couldn't parse.
Modeling
- Fixed an issue where a model relationship's join_to_view_as_label always overrode a joined view's label in a topic, even when the topic set its own view label or re-declared the relationship. Topic-level labels now take precedence over model-level ones, so topics can override a model relationship's label as expected.
Visualization
- You can now upgrade every eligible chart on a dashboard page to the new layers chart editor in one step, instead of upgrading charts one at a time. Each chart is changed in place, so its tile keeps its position, filters, and controls. Moved layer settings into each field on the Y-axes .
