Conversation logging for Conversational analytics in BigQuery is generally available
BigQuery now supports logging data agent conversations directly to a BigQuery table within the agent's project.
Improved Lakeflow Performance Observability will soon be available by default for workspaces with the compliance security profile enabled
Databricks is enabling improved Lakeflow performance observability by default for workspaces with the compliance security profile.
Looker (Google Cloud core) data lineage is generally available
Data lineage for Looker (Google Cloud core) is now generally available, providing end-to-end visibility for LookML dashboards and Conversational Analytics agents.
BigQuery Python user-defined functions support volume mounts in preview
Python user-defined functions in BigQuery now support volume mounts, allowing users to access dependency files directly from Cloud Storage.
QuickBooks connector is available in Beta
The managed QuickBooks connector is now available in beta, enabling incremental ingestion of accounting data into Databricks.
Looker-managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is generally available
The Looker-managed MCP server is now generally available, allowing AI agents to interact with business data and LookML models without middleware.

More Vitess operations in the CLI and API
PlanetScale has expanded its CLI and API to support additional Vitess operations, including Materialize and VDiff.
Vitess Materialize workflows in the dashboard
PlanetScale now displays Materialize workflows in the Vitess branch dashboard, allowing users to view stream states and replication lag.
Live connections for Neki
Users can now view, cancel, or terminate live connections to Neki routers via the dashboard or CLI, allowing for better management of active queries and sessions.
Postgres logical replication slots no longer need registration
We've removed the patroni.slots cluster parameter for Postgres logical replication. PlanetScale will now detect logical slots automatically, so you no longer need to add each slot name to your cluster configuration. Keep failover support enabled on your slots to preserve them during switchovers and failovers. Read more
Configure disk scaling for Vitess keyspaces
You can now control how disks in a Vitess keyspace are sized, from the dashboard, the API, or the pscale CLI. Let disks grow automatically up to a storage limit, turn growth off, or shrink disks with more capacity than you need.
Faster Heroku Postgres migrations with deferred index rebuilds
We've updated the Heroku Migrator so Heroku Postgres migrations are faster and cover more databases. The initial copy will now drop secondary indexes on PlanetScale and rebuild them after the data lands. This keeps a single bad index from restarting a multi-hour copy.
Read-only replicas for Neki
We've added read-only replicas for Neki. You can now attach extra instances that copy from the primary and serve reads, without using the replicas that take over during failover. This keeps long-running work like analytics, reports, and exports off the instances that handle live traffic and failover.
Metal M-10 to M-160 sizes for Neki
We've added Metal sizes M-10 through M-160 for Neki on AWS. You can now run Neki on the same locally attached NVMe sizes already available for Postgres. On these sizes, you'll pick storage capacity separately from vCPU and memory. The capacity stays fixed after you select it. Read more
