Custom headers and footers for report PDFs

UpdateyesterdayUnverifiedAdded Oct 10, 2026

Different readers need different things from a report. An executive may want clean pages that put the panels first, while a client expects your branding and page numbers throughout. Custom PDF headers and footers let you shape your reports around the people who read them.

Connect Synthetic Monitoring checks to your services with Knowledge Graph

Grafana Cloud Synthetic Monitoring now integrates with the knowledge graph, available in public preview. When a check fails or slows down, you can see the service it monitors, explore its dependencies, and compare check results with service health to narrow down where to investigate. Synthetic checks show how your application behaves from the outside.

Database Observability now supports Grafana Alloy clustering for MySQL and PostgreSQL. When you run several Alloy nodes with the same configuration, Alloy assigns each database to exactly one node. Telemetry collection is distributed across the cluster and automatically moves to another node if one becomes unavailable, without duplicating data.

Build data-driven dashboards with the updated Text visualization

Text visualizations are useful for adding context to dashboards, but the core visualization has traditionally been limited to static Markdown, HTML, and dashboard variables. If you wanted to create a table from query results, display a status summary, or change text based on a value, you often had to use custom code or another visualization type.
