Stable egress IP addresses on Azure (General availability)

Stable egress IP addresses are now generally available on Azure and are no longer in Preview . You can generate Snowflake egress IP address ranges (as CIDR addresses) and add them to an external server's allowlist so that Snowflake can make requests to that server.

WITH GRANT OPTION for role grants

You can now grant an account role or a database role to another role with WITH GRANT OPTION . The recipient role can grant that role to other roles, including with WITH GRANT OPTION . Use REVOKE GRANT OPTION FOR to remove only the grant option. The role grant stays in place, so the recipient still inherits the granted role’s privileges.

With this release, you can change the type of an existing organization user. Use the alter organization user command to set the TYPE property to PERSON or SERVICE , or unset the property to make the organization user a PERSON user, which is the default type.
